Hail Creek Mine is a modern open-cut coal operation currently producing 8Mtpa of high quality coking coal for the export market. Located in the Bowen Basin region, employees participate in an attractive, family friendly commute roster from Mackay. The onsite village boasts modern and comfortable facilities, along with various social, sporting and recreation activities. We are currently recruiting for a Fixed Plant Mechanical Maintainer, we require a mechanically trade qualified maintainer with experience working in a fixed plant environment. You will have strong planning skills and the ability to work within a team to effectively meet targets and deadlines. Your experience working within a mining environment (e.g. CHP or CHPP) maintaining pumps, conveyors, compressors and a good working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems will be vital to your application.
