Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Profile:
- Experienced with process equipment/conveyor fault finding and maintenance
- Working knowledge and maintenance exp of canning lines seamers advantageous but not essential
- Time served recognized Engineering qualified
- Minimum 5 years experience in a maintenance environment - food manufacturing experience preferred
- Exemplary health and safety record
Duties:
Mechanical maintenance engineer required with experience in an FMCG environment to provide engineering support to food process and packaging machinery. Duties will include PPM, servicing and breakdown repair of canning lines, check weighers, pumps, conveyors, coolers, vacuum packaging and labeling plant. Basic facilities maintenance duties required occasionally.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an understanding of root cause analysis, have a demonstrable history in driving continuous improvement and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Shift: Double Day shifts.
Salary of £36K + 25 days holiday, Healthcare Pension
