Our client is able to achieve a high level of quality work due to their highly skilled and qualified personnel who bring a wealth of knowledge to the company. They are well known in the industry for specialty work with Hi Rise, Commercial, Hotels and Industrial buildings.
The Role:
The Company seeks a Mechanical Project Manager to join their local team to oversee the projects in the Greater Vancouver area. This individual will be comfortable taking lead and control of projects. We are looking for someone who is able to multitask and think on their feet. Specifically, the successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Read and interpret drawings and designs.
- Manage and coordinate staff and contractors on site.
- Problem solve while driving the project with no down time.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and contractors
- Foster new client relationships to influence a growth in company business
The Candidate:
Applicants for this role must have the following:
- 5-10 years Project Management experience.
- Plumbing, Gas fitter B ticket or Steam ticket.
- Trades qualified as Journeyman, Plumber or HVAC with a strong background working with plumbing, gas fitting, HVAC and mechanical pumps.
- Has experience with commercial, high rise industrial buildings.
- Must have strong mechanical background knowledge.
- Good communications skills both written and verbal.
- Good computer skills with Word, Excel Accubid.
- The ability to travel with ease from site to site.
