Position Description

Mechanical and Structural Engineering K LevelManager for the Mechanical Systems IPT in the Enterprise Engineering Support Group (EESG) program in Philadelphia. Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Mechanical Structural Engineering Design. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Supports direct supervisor in business development and Inter-organizational Work Authorization acquisition and oversight. Acquires resources for projects and processes. Provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees. Responsibilities include the Business and Financial Control Accounts for this IPT, including performing the necessary cost and schedule review and updates. Coordinates Performance to Plan presentation and is responsible for metrics within. Develops staffing plans and works with Functional Management in fulfilling resource requirements.

Basic Qualifications For Consideration

Do you have experience with budget management and related principles such as creating a schedule around key milestones, identifying resources required, and performing earned value management?

Do you have experience with Boeing Commercial Airplane products, including specific process and tool knowledge?

Do you have CATIA V5 and ENOVIA experience?

Do you have at least 5 years experience in technical domain knowledge of a complex aircraft system, including some experience as a project team leader?

Do you have experience with Inter-Organizational Work Authorization coordination, development, and oversight?
