Mechanical Technician Job in City Of London, London Uk

Our client is an established organisation who are actively looking to recruit Mechanical shift Technician.

Duties:

Ensure that all plant and BMS checks are completed on time, and all problems found are recorded and communicated to the Shift Leader

To carry out PPM in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the Plant and associated systems.

Be proactive with regard to preventative maintenance and good site husbandry.

Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.

To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation associated with the mechanical aspects of the PPM and plant.

The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role previously and hold the following.

NVQ Level 2-3 (Mechanical Discipline e.g. Heating and Ventilating 6018) or

City and Guilds (Mechanical Discipline)

Experienced in the mechanical aspects of general building Planned Preventative Maintenance(PPM) schedules
Competent working knowledge of Air Handling UnitÂ's, Building Management Systems, Air Conditioning equipment, Cold Water systems, Heating and Ventilation systems, Water Treatment and Emergency Generators.
