Our client is seeking a Mechanical Technician in Montgomeryville, PA.

Earn $14 to $17 per hour at this full-time, temp-to-hire position. Work 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

Job Description:

Assemble framing and actuators to CAD drawings.
Perform machine shop related manufacturing assignments requiring a wide application of advanced principals and concepts in machining, machine building and assembly.
Proficiently operate machine shop equipment (milling machines - manual and ideally CNC’s, lathes, saws, etc.) hand tools, and measurement tools.
Fabricate equipment as specified on production and customer drawings.
Resolve issues in the shop and field using related experience and knowledge of specifications and/or standards.
Interact with production, engineering, purchasing, and sales on a regular basis.

Requirements:

High school degree required. Additional vocational or associates degree a plus.
3-5 years’ experience as a machinist, millwright, machine builder or maintenance technician.
Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Must possess a full range of mechanical knowledge.
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment as well as at off-site locations with multiple projects being worked on at any given time.
Must be able to occasionally lift 50 lbs. and work overtime as needed.
Must work well with others and have a strong will to succeed in a growing team.
Experience training others is highly valued.
Position is based out of Montgomeryville, PA, with possible occasional travel (25%). Must be able to travel on occasion if presented.
