Temporary/Seasonal FREEDOM MINE The Coteau Properties Company is searching for Temporary/Seasonal Mechanics. The Coteau Properties Company operates the Freedom Mine, which is a surface coal mine employing 400+ employees. Coteau¹s Freedom Mine is the largest lignite mine in the United States and is located ten miles north of Beulah, North Dakota, only minutes from Lake Sakakawea. Mechanic applicants must be able to perform all aspects of coal mine mechanical maintenance of diesel heavy equipment. Must possess knowledge of engines, cooling systems, undercarriage, electrical systems, hydraulic components, drivetrains, brake and air conditioning systems. Diesel Tech associates degree or equivalent heavy equipment maintenance experience required. Applicants must have good communication and interpersonal skills and be team oriented. They must be willing to work shift work and have the willingness to accept responsibility and challenge. Accepting applications and resumes October 31 through November 18, 2011.
