Med D Program Services Project Management Advisor
Responsible for general project management duties, analysis, and support of CVS Caremark's Medicare Part D Program and client base. Act as liaison between Medicare subject matter experts (SME), operational staff, and IT. Duties will include general project management activities, including development of project plans, creation and distribution of issues list, escalation management, facilitating crossfunctional meetings (e.g. agenda preparation, reports distribution, material gathering and distribution, and communication of decisions/results, etc.) Job also requires analytical skills, working with Medicare experts, cross functional operational areas, and IT to analyze both CMS and internal program requirements with the goal of defining both IT development and business process needs required to meet those program requirements. Candidate will develop strong knowledge of the CMS Medicare program requirements, as well as the operational implementation protocols related to the program. Bachelor's degree required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute At least 9 years of relevant work experience in project management, management, heathcare industry required. At least five years of management or project management experience Ability to work with and influence crossfunctional to implement new requirements effectively - strong interpersonal skills required. Ability to understand technical process flows and understand complex requirements. Ability to project manage deliverables across multiple departments and follow-up to ensure completion. Knowledge of Prescription Benefit Management industry Experience in Medicare Part D or other government regulated programs a plus Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel, MS Project, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
