The job holder will be responsible for developing new rewarding relationships at all levels within new business and existing accounts within a given area and will formulate plans for revenue defence and growth and improved client retention. Account Managers will be tasked with ensuring that market share, revenue and margin are maximized across the portfolio. You will need to also have a new business focus as this will be a key part of the role.

 

Tasks typically involve:

 

*      Meeting and liaising with clients to discuss and identify their advertising requirements;

*      Demonstrate a track record of success in delivering sales targets.

*      Anticipate barriers to success, formulate strategies and action plans to overcome such barriers, and execute plans by priority.

*      Working with agency colleagues to devise an advertising campaign that meets the client’s brief and budget;

*      Presenting, alongside agency colleagues - particularly the account manager, the campaign ideas and budget to the client;

*      Working with the account manager to brief media, creative and research staff, and assisting with the formulation of marketing strategies
