Media Bookkeeper recruitment
This specialist media accountancy firm requires a bookkeeper to join their busy London office.
You will be involved in a variety of bookkeeping tasks on various clients from the media and music industry. This will include data entry, bank reconciliations', making payments and float / credit card analysis. You will need to Prepare and submit VAT returns, EC Sales lists and deal with EU VAT Refunds.
You will also be required to Prepare, monitor and review cash flow statements and report to clients, dealing with queries.
Responsibilities will also include: reviewing tour budgets through to producing tour accounts with explanations for variances as well as reviewing contracts and preparing necessary documentations to reduce tax liabilities on non-UK income; delivering ad-hoc analytical reports on a range of financial issues including royalties; preparing monthly management accounts up to trial balance, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and preparing annual accounts.
This role would suit someone who has a stable C.V and is looking for long term prospects within a recognised and well regarded firm with an excellent culture.
The firm will consider supporting further ACCA studies after six months of service.
Requirements: You MUST have prior experience of a bookkeeping role within an accountancy practice or media firm with exposure to royalties. You will ideally be AAT qualified and have a minimum of 3 years+ experience in a similar role in the UK.
