Media Buying Manager
The Media Buying Manager should have existing relationships with online vendors and an established list of contacts in publishing, agencies and other networks. This individual must be proactive, have a strong sense of accountability and have a day-to-day focus on bottom-line results. The Media Buying Manager will interface with various other departments to maximize and optimize campaign potential.
Key Duties Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and purchase media from online vendors
- Maintain solid working relationships with online vendors
- Manage traffic partnerships and CPM banners
- Identify and target sources of qualified and profitable traffic
- Negotiate CPA, CPC, CPM, CPV and other advertising acquisition models
- Developing and managing online buys / manage execution
- Develop optimization processes
- Recommend strategic and tactical changes to optimize campaign performance
- Manage, analyze and optimize media placements for maximum ROI
- Management of junior members on media buying team
- Other duties as required
Experience and Skills:
- Experience in inside sales, negotiation, business development and partnership selling
- Experience in international media buying is a plus
- Be a self starter and work well independently
- Understand the business needs and be able to change priorities with little or no notice
- A clear thinker and exceptional communicator
- Computer skills, especially Microsoft Office
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be eligible to work in the USA (No H1 Visa Sponsorship)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in purchasing online media campaigns and various deal structures (preferred) OR some kind of internet centric business
- Management experience required
