Media Sales Manager: Pharmaceutical Sector

My client, a leading Healthcare media company based in Central London, are looking to find an excellent Media Sales Manager to be a part of a new sales focus, selling both Print Online solutions into the Medical Media Division. Paying circa 35k per annum + 30% commission, this is a tremendous opportunity to work within a global Media organisation.

Job Responsibilities:
As a Sales Manager you will be required to:
• Nurture relationships with key Media Agencies delivering both Digital Non-Digital Marketing Solutions.
• Take on a Consultative Sales approach selling online digital bespoke solutions.
• Support the Sales Director in meeting customer communication needs in a profitable manner utilising a range of marketing solutions
• 60% Account Management. 40% New Business
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, in full and to an exceptionally profitable high standard
• Reporting responsibilities for your own projects; client reports, analysis, recommendations application of ROI formulas.
• Manage and develop Account Executive with job caching, delivery of sales targets and mentoring.

Essential/Preferred Skills:
•A minimum of 4 years Sales experience with experience and/or understanding of Pharmaceutical / Medical / Healthcare Media Sales
• Experience of working with both Online Print Marketing Solutions (experience in Media Events would be advantageous also)
• Demonstrable ability to hit revenue targets
• Experience of developing maintaining relationships with key clients
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to apply ROI formulas to assess the effectiveness of client projects.
•Excellent communication and face-to-face selling
•Presentation and negotiating skills and the ability to answer questions and objections confidently
•Ability to sell in marketing solutions in a consultative manner
•Excellent time management
•Understanding of the Healthcare industry an advantage
•Understanding of the ABPI code an advantage
•Understanding of Zinc approval system an advantage

Associated salary and Benefits:
