Job Posting Number: 10767BR Job Posting Title: Media Support Event Technician- Supplemental/PRN Job Posting Category: Media Services Work Site: AZ - Scottsdale Campus Building: Mayo Clinic Building Department: Media Support Services Job Description: Facilitates videoconferencing, video production services, and other multi-media support services. Videos surgeries/surgical procedures and performs basic editing; provides tape and DVD duplication services. Provides on-site and off-campus AV technical support. Hours will vary to meet the requirements of the job. Will participate in rotations covering evenings and/or weekends. Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Minimum three years of experience with event support, audiovisual rentals, or a corporate or educational audiovisual department required. Other Qualifications: Availability to work evenings and/or weekends. Proficiency in the operation of studio and portable field video equipment. Thorough understanding of video lighting techniques and equipment. Thorough knowledge of and proficiency with control room switching and monitoring equipment. Knowledge of digital formats. Proficiency with non-linear editing systems preferred. Must have good organizational and time management skills and be flexible to accommodate a variety of assignments and schedules. License or Certification: Valid Arizona driver's license. Benefit Eligible: No Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Hours/Pay Period: Supplemental/PRN Schedule Details: As needed Weekend Schedule: As needed Compensation Detail: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
