Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program; six months acute or ambulatory care or related experience; minimum one year experience in ambulatory care strongly preferred; CPR AHA healthcare provider certification required; AAMA, CCMA, or AMT certification required within 12 months of hire; basic keyboarding and computer abilities; excellent communication and organizational skills; and flexibility.
