Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent and/or equivalent experience; graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program; six months acute or ambulatory care or related experience; 1 year experience preferred; Current AHA healthcare provider BLS certification required; AAMA, CCMA, or AMT certification required within 12 months of hire; basic keyboarding and computer abilities; knowledge of medical terminology/anatomy; excellent communication and organizational skills; and flexibility. Willing to cross train in other department highly desirable. Bilingual speaking preferred.
