Medical Billing - Payment Poster
The OSU Internal Medicine, LLC, a member of the Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. (OSUP), a multi-specialty physician group affiliated with the Ohio State University Medical Center, is seeking a payment poster for its revenue cycle team.
Reporting to the Manager of Accounts Receivable, the Payment Poster will reconcile and batch bank deposits to ensure proper posting, post insurance/patient payments according to OSU Internal Medicine, LLC guidelines (correct paycodes, contractual adjustment, Offsets/takebacks, medical record and non patient money), QA batches according to guidelines, file and copy selected Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and other duties as assigned.
To be considered, applicants must have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in healthcare or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with a computerized billing system with IDX experience preferred. Must be able to work effectively with individuals in a teaming environment and be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
