Medical Billing Specialist
Client Company in the Highland Park area is searching for a qualified Medical Billing Specialist. Qualified candidates will have 2-5 years previous physicians or hospital billing and collections experience. Knowledge and experience with insurance verifications, pre-certifications, and billing codes are required. EHR (Electronic Health Records) knowledge is a plus. Position would require training in front desk operations initially and then advance to billing.
Working hours: Monday - Friday, approximately 40 hours per week
- Must have 2-5 years billing and reception experience in a medical environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent required, completion of medical billing program/certification preferred.
- Experience working with Medicaid, Medicare, etc.
- Possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel.
- Maintains strictest confidentiality- adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
