Medical Coder Job Description: Aerotek is currently seeking a Medical Coder for one of our larger clients in Omaha. The candidate will be under general supervision coding for the purpose of reimbursement, research, and compliance with federal regulations according to diagnosis or procedure. The candidate will also collect daily charges for assigned areas, verify ICD9 and modifiers using documentation ensuring claims comply with organizational policies and government regulations, and prepare charges to enter into the billing system. Qualified candidates will have: Associates in Medical Coding and 1-2 years experience as a coder.
