Duties:
This position is within a high call volume environment. The Medical Customer Service Representative is responsible for the effective and thorough handling of telephone inquires to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Phone inquiries are from patients, healthcare providers and physicians. Work with other departments within organization to ensure that inquiries are resolved in a timely manner. Meet and exceed daily, weekly and monthly quotas and standards.
Requirements:
The qualified candidate must have a minimum of 2-4 years of customer service experience within HMO managed care environments. At least 1 year of experience in a call center environment. IDX system experience is highly preferred. Basic knowledge of medical terminology as well as an overall understanding of enrollment and membership activities is required. Superior oral and written communication skills is a must!
