Medical Laser Technician

The company will train all technicians on various equipment, including an overview of basic laser biophysics, laser safety, fiber-optic delivery systems and component/ operation of the laser.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver and maintain laser or other specified equipment during Operating Room procedures.
- Work in local hospitals in the Operating Room as a Laser Technician, ensuring that equipment is ready and functioning for each case.
- Hours vary and on-call hours are required on a rotating basis.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate effective communication skills, some medical/hospital experience preferred
- Ability to work with medical personnel in all situations
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record to drive company trucks.
- Ability to transport and move, (push, pull up to 80 lbs) equipment via company van or truck.
- Ability to attend cases in surgical environment
- Ability to travel locally to client hospitals and work flexible hours with an on call schedule
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or Associates degree (A.A) from an accredited two or four-year College or University
SALARY: $17.31 an hour during the 90 day Training Period, Annual Salary Opportunity for Full Time Technician $25,000.00 - $65,000.00 Dependent on your background and ability.
