The ideal candidate will deal with incoming and outgoing mail,answering phone calls,be able to use a computer to write letters and record medical notes,make sure medical lables are correctly labelled, and keep on top of filing and office duties while making appoitnments. The cadidate may also be required to schdule meetings, keep track of the doctors diary,organise travel and deal with patients and visitors.

The ideal candidate must posses ood organisational skills, have good attention to detail, be able to communicate with sympathy to patients and relatives and cope with emtional strain. The cadidate must be able to use variuos technological sotware related to the NHS, be bale to work on thier own initative and be abel to priorities a differentiated workload.
