Medical Social Worker

Responsible for conducting psycho-social interviews with patients of all ages and their families in order to aide patients and families with personal and environmental difficulties which may predispose illness or interfere with obtaining maximum benefits from medical care. Insures high quality and continuity of patient care through interaction with relevant others affecting care of the patient. May be required to work weekends, holidays and shifts other than those which are regularly assigned. Bachelor's degree and Masters in Social Work. Minimum of two years of experience in the social work field, preferably in a health related setting.
