Using independent judgment and cognitive skills to develop data, which may be used by the physician in determining the presence and extent of disease. Evaluating results for clinical significance, validity and appropriateness. Following prescribed policy in the reporting and notification of test results. Performing and documenting calibration, maintenance and repair of instruments and equipment.
