Nielsen Membership Representatives are provided with the opportunity to grow along with one of the worlds most admired and successful market research companies. To be successful, you will need to be a self-starter interested in making connections with diverse populations within an assigned geography. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate with potential Nielsen households during our work hours that have proven to be productive, including evenings and weekends. We are looking for someone responsible, accountable, and excited about the possibility of new experiences as well as driven to exceed monthly production targets. Membership Representatives make personal visits to potential Nielsen families, in person, without an appointment, to effectively educate them that their participation in the TV and Computer ratings will help capture viewing habits at no cost to the family and recruit them to become a Nielsen family/participant.
This position may require up to 50% overnight travel throughout the assigned market area as well as overnight travel outside of the immediate area based on business need.

*Compensation package including annual salary of $32,100 with average quarterly bonus of $2,900 based on performance, potential for paid overtime, plus $1,500 language differential to those who qualify

Qualifications/Requirements
* Strong presentation skills
* Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
* Experience in a market research, social service, or commissioned sales field where in home contact is a plus
* Ability to manage and travel throughout large geography
* Computer proficiency in all formats including Microsoft Office applications* Full background check, to include and meet requirements for Criminal and Motor Vehicle Record
* Bachelors degree preferred* Bilingual skills preferred
* Demonstrated success in achieving pre-determined sales goals
