Essential Functions:
An individual who provides behavioral support services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provides personal care and behavioral assistance/interventions to assigned clients.
• Assisting clients with grooming, eating/meal preparation, and toileting
• Assisting with ambulation and transfer services
• Management of difficult behavior
• Crisis Intervention
• Encouraging Independence
• Maintaining patient safety
• Implementation of behavioral plans
Applicant must be medication certified by the state of Colorado (QMAP).
This is a great opportunity for Master's Degree students or those looking for flexible scheduling in the mental health field.
Minimum Requirements:
• High School diploma or its equivalent.
• Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of one year relevant experience in mental health.
• Full command, verbal and written, of the English language.
• Current CPR card.
• Successful completion of background screening and hiring process.
