MEP Field Coordinator
Kelly Engineering Resources is currently accepting resumes for an MEP Field Coordinator position in the Metro-Philadelphia area. The MEP Field Coordinator is responsible for the administration and implementation of all phases of work related to the Heating, Ventilation Air Conditioning, Electrical, Lighting, Low Voltage, Plumbing and Fire Protection (MEP) disciplines. The MEP Coordinator will assist with · Pre-construction activities including design review, preliminary scheduling and contractor scope review. · Review and approval of monthly requisitions · Review of shop drawings and submittals. · Contractor coordination and scheduling meetings · Interfacing with the owner and Design Consultants to facilitate the timely resolution of open design issues and changes. · Overseeing and coordinating the installation, start up, commissioning, owner training and turnover of all MEP systems. Position requirements: Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field Commercial construction experience is a must Experience working on larger projects ($10 million and above) is a plus Projects will be located throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Candidates must be able to travel to these locations.
