Bank of America Merchant Services is looking for an outside sales professional to join our team who will develop new merchant processing relationships with small to medium sized businesses. This role focuses primarily on self-generated opportunities through prospecting activities and by developing relationships with associations, vendors and centers of influence. Some leads for prospects with existing Bank of America relationships may be provided, however a true “hunter” mentality is a requirement for success. This position provides a competitive salary with an aggressive compensation plan - top performers can earn total compensation in the six figures within the first year. Successful candidates will possess a strong desire to succeed in a performance driven environment.

Position Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years of sales experience
• Achieve and maintain monthly sales quotas
• Ability to travel locally

Preferred Skills

• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
• Knowledge of merchant and bank products/services and/or payment sales experience
• Outstanding sales, business development and negotiating skills
• Strong relationship management skills
• Proven ability to develop new business through prospecting
• Ability to multitask and change direction in a dynamic payment processing environment
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
• Effective planning and organizational skills
