Overview of Accountabilities

• Drive Efficiency of Merchandising Operations and effectiveness of Visual Standards
• Strive to have the right product to the customer needs

Overview of Responsibilities
• Source, train and develop Merch Visual Team talent
• Work with Store Manager and HR to find, assess and hire Merch Visual Associates
• Train Merch Visual Associates through teaming, observation and utilizing company training materials
• Provide timely feedback to Merch Visual Associates through reports, metrics and fact base observations
• Coach, counsel, discipline associates

Effectively Lead the Merch Visual Team
• Drive efficiency and effectiveness of Merch Visual Operations including receiving, tagging, pricing, merchandising product, recovery, setting and maintaining visual sets, ad sets, pricing changes, managing the back room, RTVs, transfers, pack ups, cycle counts, on hand adjustments, and other related responsibilities
• Using reports and analysis, identify opportunities and best practices, and develop and execute plans to increase efficiency and effectiveness of Merch Visual Operations
• Actively and effectively set proper goals, accurately scope out the length and difficulty of tasks, break down work into process steps, prioritize, schedule, assign and hold Associates accountable for tasks done in a timely fashion
• Ensure Audit Merch Visual related scores (e.g., pricing, RTVs, backroom, EAS tagging, etc.) exceed passing levels
• Improve CEI scores relating to Merch Visual questions and ensure premium space is properly used for seasonal or promotional items

Improve the Store’s Assortment
• Utilize reports, analytic tools and analysis to identify merchandise and assortment opportunities and issues
• Effectively communicate merchandise and assortment opportunities and issues to store manager and DMs, and follow up on actions taken to remedy the situation

Run the Sales Floor and Advise Customers
• When assigned or needed, manage Authorities and Associates on the sales floor in driving sales and CEI by helping customers in finding the right products to fit their needs and goals
• Actively drive A Game selling behaviors and ECPPP
• Maintain sales floor presentation by managing recovery

Other Leadership responsibilities
• Assist Store Manager and other Team Leaders in their responsibilities, when needed
• Follows all safety policies
• Protects all assets of the company
