Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst in Industrials-focused Boutique recruitment

We are seeking a 1st- or 2nd-year analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a final-year or recent graduate of a highly-ranked bachelors or masters degree programme with an interest in the financial world. The job is located at our main office in London, though frequent travel will be required. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, a desire to work hard, and the ability to learn quickly on the job. Previous work experience in a corporate finance environment is not required.

Requirements

• 2:1 (or equivalent) or higher undergraduate degree from a top-tier university

• Interest in and knowledge of financial markets and concepts

• Solid IT skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Trustworthiness, integrity and poise

• A willingness to travel and an aptitude for interacting with a global client base

• Permission to work in the UK. This position will not enable a candidate to gain a UK Work Permit.

• Native English speaker, or at Native level (education primarily in English since primary school or raised in an English-speaking environment)

Preferred

• Academic background in Accounting and/or Finance
