Jobdescription:

  • Identifies and analyzes possible mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, and makes recommendations as to their impact on the organization's profitability.

  • Conducts the evaluation and negotiation of potential acquisitions and mergers.

  • Analyzes business segments, reviews business plans and develops financial models.

  • Performs appropriate due diligence exercises to ensure financial viability and "fit".

  • Develops evaluation criteria to target and assess potential acquisitions and mergers.

  • Prepares reports for executive team and Board review.

  • Guided by business plans and strategy.

    - Executes goals and strategy within area of responsibility.

    - Contributes to strategic decisions affecting the discipline.

  • Initiates new or revised departmental procedures, programs and initiatives.

  • Assesses and determines priorities within area of expertise.

    Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • Advanced understanding of financial statement analysis and financial modeling.

  • Advanced negotiation skills.

  • Advanced ability to work with individuals in a wide variety of functional areas and levels of leadership.

  • Undergraduate degree and 8-10 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 6-8 years relevant experience.

  • Excellent German and English language skills.
