Metal Sales – Base, Precious, Corporate clients – London Based – recruitment
Responsibilities for role:
- Develop profitable book consisting of sales of metal products, both base and precious, to institutional and corporate clients.
- Responsible for building and developing new clients and business activities for the company as well as maintaining strong relationships with our existing clients
- Writing of daily reports and providing clients with accurate information flow.
- Marketing of desk to prospective fund clients.
- Negotiation of commission and sales to clients / prospects and to internal desks.
Skills / Attributes required for the role:
- 4+ years of metals sales experience
- Existing relationships and clients
- Excellent communication and relationship management with both internal desks and current / prospective clients.
- In depth knowledge across all commodity markets and of the hedge fund / pension fund industry.
- Excellent technical knowledge of electronic trading platforms and high-level execution skills both electronically and through pit brokers.
- Willing to locate in London
