I am working with a leading brokerage that are developing their presence in Singapore, London and Central Europe. The current focus is on the metals and bulk commodities markets and they are looking for individuals to join their respective teams. Suitable individuals will have experience in either the metals or iron ore markets and ideally a transferable client base and proven track record.
Responsibilities of the Position:
- The candidate will have knowledge of commodities or FX and maths.
- The candidates will have knowledge of precious and platinum metals.
- Develop relationships and networks globally to increase coverage and market share.
- Will maintain an existing profitable book in addition to developing and expanding this.
- Assist in the expansion plans of the team; with the long term view of building the team in that location.
Skills/ Attributes Required for this Role:
- Knowledge of the metals and/or iron ore markets.
- Transferable clients base in the respective regions.
- Proven track record.
- Experience in futures and options.
- Language skills are beneficial.
- Willing to be located in Singapore, London or Central Europe.
