We are looking for a person to join a small highly productives team which is active in providing bespoke financial solutions to the Mining and Metals industries in Asia Pac. You will need to provide core skills in financial analysis gained in an investment banking or resources industry position, these skills will certainly include a high degree of fluency in deal structuring, financial modelling, report writing and industry research . Previous exposure to ECM/IPO transactions in the mining space would be a great advantage, we also welcome applications from experienced investment banking analysts who would be interested in getting in to Natural resources for the first time .Your communication skills also need to be first class as early on you will have the chance to meet with clients who are some of the most influential in the Asia Pac resources market.
The firms product suite in the mining and metals space is broad providing investment banking services, ECM DCM MA ,debt facilities, project and structured finance to clients plus commodity hedging services. Your personal territory will be the Mining and Metals advisory market with an emphasis on ECM and IPO markets plus associated activity. It is a unique proposition in the local market, the role poses a great number of intellectual challenges as no two deals are alike, this ensures a steep learning curve and opportunities to engage your problem solving skills. The small team dynamic will mean you are involved in many stages of a deal, from the preparation of pitch books to execution.
Very few environments will give you such involvement at an early stage in your career. There is great scope here for a person who is very motivated to achieve, we are looking for the senior managers of tomorrow and the opportunity for international mobility is very real.
