Metals Product Control/London/Contract - £350-450 p.d.
A physical commodities trading house is seeking an experienced Commodities Product Controller to join on a contract basis. The successful candidate must have relevant experience in working as in a Metals Middle Office Position and will offer opportunities for a permanent role in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation review of daily profitability reporting for the physical metals desks.
- Resolving issues in daily movements in profitability positions with traders.
- Understand all daily PL adjustments and ensure relevant documentations of these are available.
- Proactively involved in process improvements and system integrations for the desk.
Skills/ Knowledge:
- Essential - Metals Product Control experience.
- Experience in daily interaction with traders and strong analytical/ Interpretation skills
- Accounting accreditation (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) is desirable
- Strong Excel Skills (Pivots and V-Lookups) and ideally Access skills.
It is also imperative that the candidate is available to start on a weeks notice as the current incumbent is leaving this position in Mid-November so you must be available to start at this time.
