Tasks: - Opens, sorts, and distributes mail. - Processes routine items and records. - Answers phones and takes messages or provides information. - Operates various office equipment. - Assists with projects to ensure deadlines are met. - Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. - Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. General Overview of Position Responsible for data collection and producing metrics from various Comcast tools Specific Position Responsibilities Duties - Interact with product management, project management, development and testing teams to ensure metric compliance - Automate data collection from the various Comcast Tools - Generate weekly reports - Metrics gathering and reporting - Analyzes the data. Requirements Requirements: - High School or Equivalent - - - Generally requires 0-2 years related experience Qualifications/Skills Required - Familiar with MS excel charting and macros, MS access - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Technical background and an understanding of the telecom industry - Good development/scripting skills in common languages like VB, JAVA, PERL, C++, etc - Database skills, mainly in Oracle and SQL Server - Good experience with different Operating Systems, with emphasis on Unix variants - Good understanding of object oriented programming, J2EE architecture, .NET, etc - Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously - Must be flexible, independent and self motivated - Punctual, Regular and consistent attendance Majors Preferred: Computer Science Minimum GPA: 3.0 Comcast is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Drug-Free workplace employer.
