Metro Manager
The Metro Manager is responsible for the effective management and profitable operation of an assigned Metro branch office(s). This includes responsibility for:
• operational excellence to ensure quality delivery of services to clients, associates, and candidates;
• overseeing branch recruiting
• effective management of permanent staff including selection, compensation, on-boarding and training, and development,.
The position reports to the Metro Regional Director. This person will also engage directly with the Regional Director, Metro Account Manager, as well as supervisory responsibility for Recruiters and COFs.
• Oversee the recruitment and order management processes including:
· Receiving and qualifying job orders efficiently
· Analyzing resumes accurately and assigning appropriate skill codes
· Interviewing candidates and evaluating their qualifications for assignments
• Manage operations and staff of assigned metro branch office(s) to achieve performance objectives for:
· DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
· Electronic Verification Compliance
· Invoice processing - accounts receivable and accounts payable
· Profitability
· Create and deliver operational plans and processes to internal staff, including operational progress updates, hints and tips, and best practices
• Review all financial and general management reports
• Implement bill/pay structure to ensure a proper gross profit level
• Determine customer credit extensions with assistance from the Corporate Credit Department
• Implement corporate collection policies and procedures
• Partner with Metro RD and other Metro managers to attract, select, and hire Metro team members
• Ensure a thorough Get Started/Go Strong on-boarding process for new staff and provide necessary training and experiences before putting them on the phone or in front of clients
• Conduct individual WOW and Client Review Meetings monthly with branch staff
• Provide on-going training, development, and coaching to direct reports
• Manage and deliver weekly reports of activity, Associates Out, New Net Starts, and sales pipeline
• Manage, verify, and approve Recruiter Incentives in the INCENT tool
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a management or leadership role, preferably in the staffing industry experience as a Branch Manager. Prior experience with perm and temp staffing preferred.
• Strong operations, recruiting/social networking, and sales/marketing skills needed to meet business development goals
• Knowledge and understanding of Manpower's operational functions, processes, and systems
• Ability to manage the order process from receiving through recruitment to completing a technical and professional assignment with a qualified candidate
• Knowledge and ability to apply advanced marketing and strategic consultative selling techniques
• Ability to cross-sell products, along with proven sales and product expertise with business clients
• Knowledge of the assigned Metro market including trends, legislation, and competition
• Must be well organized in order to manage time, solve problems, grasp concepts and processes, develop plans, organize schedules, and prepare reports
• Ability to manage and develop (i.e., through teaching, training, etc.) the professional skills of employees and manage employee performance
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office software applications
• Knowledge of industry-standard recruitment software/applications (i.e., salesforce.com) and other tools
• Strong decision making skills, especially under pressure.
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
