In this role the individual will work on a manufacturing team to measure, test and inspect product referencing detailed work instructions.
In this role the person will be performing the following:
- Understand and interpret production and quality standards.
- Understand the functions to build hardware from the lowest level (i.e., component preparation) to the highest level (i.e., final assembly) of manufacturing, including testing and limited analytical troubleshooting.
- Be able to identify work instruction improvements for better inspection of the product.
- Identify product defects and assist Process Engineer with failure analysis.
- Ability to work with the area Process Engineer to development rework instructions.

The successful candidate must have at least a High School Diploma or GED. College Preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing assembly and J-STD soldering preferred.
- Experience with the use of hand tools, calipers and check gages
- Able to read blueprints, interpret drawing requirements and follow detailed work instructions.
- Good computer skills
- Work independently and in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of global dimensioning and tolerancing preferred.
