What is Central Risk Assessment?

Central Risk Assessment is responsible for risk oversight of MG, seeking to ensure that the company manages risks in accordance with the expectations of its clients, shareholder and regulators. The team works closely with risk coordinators and management across MG Business Units and also with Prudential GHO Risk.  

We monitor the effectiveness of risk management processes across MG and provide consolidated risk analysis and risk management information to the MG Risk Director, MG Group Risk Committee and Prudential Group Operational Risk Committee.

What is the role of a Graduate Risk Analyst?

The Graduate Risk Analyst is an integral member of the Central Risk team.

From challenging business units on risks /controls and actions, developing / communicating and embedding the risk framework and policies, production of MI for the MG Risk Committee, building constructive and supportive relationships with risk coordinators and the business, review industry best practices and apply to MG risk management processes where appropriate.  

As a new Graduate you will work alongside talented individuals and your skill set will develop quickly.

The Graduate Scheme

The Scheme is a 12 to 18 month programme. Graduates are placed on high profile projects from the outset to expose them to the various business areas and systems at MG. Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate for MG will have a strong academic background, minimum 300 UCAS points (best three grades only), a 2.1 degree or equivalent and a broad skill set to match the business and culture at MG and in particular the Graduate Risk Analyst role.
