How does Group-wide Internal Audit fit within MG?

Group-wide Internal Audit can undertake reviews of all areas of MG’s business. We provide independent assurance to the Audit Committee and Senior Management that risks are being addressed and controlled by the business.

What is the role of an Internal Auditor?

As an internal auditor you will be working with a team of dedicated professionals on our review projects and other assignments.

Our role is to review a broad range of MG’s operations and rapidly gain an understanding of the business, its risks and the way it is run to manage these risks. You have an opportunity to play a part in making a real contribution and initiate change by value adding recommendations both in terms of better control and greater efficiency.

As a new Graduate you will work on projects alongside talented individuals and your skill set will develop quickly.

The Graduate Scheme

The Graduate Scheme is an excellent way to start a career at a company that values its people. MG endeavours to support and encourage personal development in an environment that rewards individuals who display ambition, independent thinking and professionalism.

The Scheme is a 12 to18 month programme. Graduates will be placed on high profile audit reviews across a wide range of business units within MG and have the opportunity to work on projects in the Prudential Group globally. Performing audit reviews around the business gives a new graduate a unique opportunity to explore and understand functions from all areas of the business and develop a complete overview of the organisation.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate for MG will have a strong academic background, minimum 300 UCAS points (best three grades only), a 2.1 degree or equivalent and a broad skill set to match the business and culture at MG and in particular the Group-wide Internal Audit role.
