Mgr Facilities 3 Job in Chester, Virginia Us

* Manage the CESC data center and office facility in Chester, Virginia

* Responsible for directly managing facility support employees and their day-to-day operations

* Plans and manages facility budgets, cost pools, and capital expenditures

* Partners with the business group senior management and new business development leadership to plan and manage site requirements

* Responsible for planning, maintenance, project management and alterations for the CESC facility

* Establishes and maintains service level agreements (equipment and services), manages and reports space utilization and identifies opportunities to leverage services and costs

* Develop and implements strategic facility plan that leverages resources and achieves an efficient and cost effective operating model

* Manage vendors for services provided on site. Manage contractors for work/repairs performed on site

* Performs daily inspections to ensure office cleanliness, office and data center safety

* Primary site contact for facility emergencies

* Support business resilience, preparedness, and testing objectives

* Responsible for OSHA compliance and data reporting

* Liaison with Security and EHS groups

* Act as landlord POC for leased buildings

Basic Qualifications:

* Educational Level and Type: Bachelor's degree. Masters degree preferred.

* 15-years facility experience (5-years facility management experience inclusive)

* U.S. Citizen

* SECRET Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain)

* Strategic planning, facilities/data center management, operations or a related field

* Strong leadership qualities, communication and interpersonal skills

* Exceptional writing, organization and planning skills

* Must have a proven track record of successful vendor and or landlord negotiations, facility consolidations, and relevant construction projects

* Good working knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Travel is required within Virginia/DC Metro area
