Job Description: The Section Manager directs leadership and management of approximately 13 direct reports supporting multiple programs within the Engineering Product Integrity Center (EPIC). Ensure clear strategy, direction and execution of the CMDM and Engineering business strategies. Provide coaching to develop and lead direct reports while maintaining strong relationships across the organization. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to build consensus and resolve conflict throughout the organization. Conduct performance management and direct employee work assignments. Teams with management peers to develop strategies for achieving operational goals. The SM is responsible for developing tactical and strategic plans to increase delivery integrity. This individual must have a proactive approach to dealing with change, both from the perspective of an organization and on the individual level. Prepare and monitor staffing plans to meet program budgets. Provide business area forecasting and associated impact to EPIC. Provide leadership and resources to support Space and Airborne Engineering in the execution of new and existing programs. Develop and conduct training as required. Support proposal bidding. Required Skills: ? 5+ years of engineering experience ? 5+ years related Configuration Management ? Demonstrated successful team leadership development Must be an advocate for continuous process improvement ? Must be Raytheon Six Sigma Specialist or equivalent ? Direct experience with PTC Windchill PDMLink tool ? Familiarity with design systems, particularly Pro-Engineer ? Previous experience with software configuration applications (ClearCase, ClearQuest, Synergy and supporting software development life cycle engineering applications ? Familiarity with Raytheon?s engineering, operations, contract and financial processes and systems ? Knowledge of related engineering disciplines; systems, hardware, software, test and quality ? Product Release - Knowledge of phases of development and maturity of engineering work products?ranging from its initial development, to its eventual release, and updated versions of the released version to help improve or identify defects still present in the work products ? Data management: plan, process and deliver documents for formal submittal to customers. ? Active DoD Secret Clearance Desired Skills: ? Experience with development of bids and proposals EVMS Certification ? Must be able to obtain additional program clearances ? Top Secret Clearance and/or SSBI Strongly Preferred Required Education: ? B. S.
