Raytheon Company is seeking an experienced PROGRAM MANAGER toserve as a Deputy Program Manager to perform in conjunction with, and act as, an alternate point of contact with the Sponsor, in the absence of the Program Manager, for organizing, coordinating, directing, and planning the work activities of Contractor and Subcontractor personnel. The chosen candidate will ensure accurate, appropriate, and effective use of engineering technical and other data, including schedule definition, structure, and documentation. Performs quality control audits and other analysis to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper usage of engineering technical and other data for critical path, risk, structure, trend and EV analysis. Assist in the oversight and preparation of contract deliverables, monitoring of program metrics, tracking progress toward program milestones and other project duties as assigned. Required Skills: A minimum of 10 years experience in the planning, technical development, team coordination, modification, and overall program/technical direction of programs integrating, flight testing, and delivering end item modified aircraft for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance missions. Of the 10 years, at least 2 years senior technical management level, preferably as Program Manager or Deputy Program Manager, Experience working in multiple discipline contract environment. Basic knowledge of Project Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance Desired Skills: PMP training/certification a plus. Prior experience managing subcontractors. Prior experience in risk management a plus Familiar with Space Command and Control ground functions Experience in two or more of the following areas: Software Engineering, remote sensing, aircraft operations, aircraft communications, system design, and integration of complex systems. Advanced degree a plus.
