JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Manager, Management Information Job Code: MF0005 Summary Claim Business Practices Group has a great opportunity for a Manager of Management Information to join the Enterprise TPA Management organization. In this position you will lead the design and implementation of a TPA management information system. You will be responsible for directing the work of the outside vendor contracted to develop the MI system. This role with interact with Procurement, IT and Legal to finalize the contract as well as develop a close partnership with the International and Domestic practice groups that delegate claim handling authority to third parties through unbundled polices. This position will be responsible for providing direction to data analysts. Primary Duties and Responsibilities ¿Design and implementation of a TPA Management Information System. ¿Develop consistent metrics to facilitate an enterprise view and produce meaningful management reports for submission to the Steering Committee ¿Partner with each of the core practice groups ¿ Canada, Ireland, UK, Lloyd¿s, Public Sector Services and National Accounts Unbundled to develop consistent data across the enterprise. ¿Produce monthly reporting package providing both an enterprise view as well as information to assist the practice groups improve performance. ¿Develop analyses of business/financial and/or statistical data to support key business plans and results. ¿Manage ad hoc business/financial and/or statistical reports and analyses to meet senior management information needs. ¿Ensure integrity and accuracy of data results. ¿Ensure compliance with government regulations, approved company standards and policies including international privacy laws. ¿Identify business drivers and trends as well as provide competitive intelligence of PC firms that utilize/partner with third parties. ¿Manage day to day work of professional/technical staff or serve as project manager ¿Recommend improvements to efficiencies and competitiveness. ¿May participate in system development efforts by taking the lead on complex issues. ¿Develop project time lines and estimated project costs. ¿Produce monthly MCR submission. Education / Work Experience 5 years experience in Management Information Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of business analysis, systems and reporting Possesses a high and extensive level of technical skills and database software applications Ability to provide direction to vendors and analysts Competencies: Clearly understands how unit relates to the business supported and aligns work to support business goals.
