The Time Warner Cable currently seeks a Product Manager. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position. PURPOSE: The Product Manager owns the lifecycle and operational management for their respective products including the definition, development and delivery of advanced communications products to the marketplace. The Product Manager works cross functionally with Sales, Marketing and other business partners to ensure a consistent, easy to use, valuable customer and consumer experience to drive sales. The Product Manager is responsible for the driving the revenue objective of the products. The Product Manager is responsible for the overall product budget. T The Product Manager will be required to create regular monthly reports on product performance to budget, ARPU, Connects goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: -Research market trends and conduct market analysis from key stakeholders across services and products to contribute to the definition of Product roadmap including competitive analysis, application definition and prioritization of elements. -Develop and manage an overall Product roadmap that aligns major external and internal needs with associated resources and constraints. -Evaluate specific market size and underlying demand by segment for target products and services through. -Available customer and stakeholder primary and secondary research (user groups, consumer research, etc.). -Collect, organize and analyze data from user studies to further product development, produce enhancements and drive sound business decisions. -Work directly with Sales organization to prioritize and develop commercial and business needs. -Draft business and product requirements, feature requirements, business process requirements and reporting requirements across key stakeholders. -Work directly with Corporate Product Development Sales organization to prioritize and develop commercial and business product requirements. -Drive key efforts around business definition, including business relationship terms with third parties, business process definition, SLAs, legal agreement support, etc. -Ensure that products are technically compatible with changing industry standards. -Interface with Product Realization, Operations and Engineering to translate product commercial and business requirements into associated use cases and technical requirements. -Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure product developed and deployed meets the business and product requirements by participating in technical and operational requirements reviews, project activities, etc. -Work closely with Project management in defining the "how" for successful launches across functions including activities, owners, milestones, dependencies, issues, risks, mitigation and escalation. -Work closely with the National Operations Center (NOC), Regional Operating Centers (ROCs), Advanced Technology Group (ATG), Product Management Group (PMG), etc. to manage the delivery of products and services in accordance to the priorities set by the leadership team. -Develop and manage core product launch and management collateral (roadmaps, product descriptions, playbooks, demos, training materials, workshops, raw content for other stakeholders, etc) -Ensure that Technical, Operations, Marketing, Promotions, Finance and Sales teams are prepared for deployment of new products, strategies and services. -Drive creation of product launch kits for specific stakeholder groups (Sales, TWC Marketing, Operations) through close functional collaboration. This will include the required information for key organizational stakeholders to support the successful execution and management of the product. -Support Marketing Sales leadership in developing marketing plans, external messaging, and sales and marketing collateral. Accompany Sales and Product Development teams during meetings with prospective large clients and partners, where necessary. Track and evaluate effectiveness, revenue contribution towards goal, and commercial profitability based on targeting models. Provide training and troubleshooting support for product as needed working closely with HR to end-users. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: -Minimum 7+ years experience of Product Management experience ideally in the media/advertising industry. -Proven track record in developing value proposition and features/benefits messaging for technology based products being marketed via channels such as programmers, agencies, MSOs, etc. -Exceptional understanding of interactive/advanced media. -Bachelors Degree from a leading undergraduate university. -Marketing and/or Communications preferred. -Strong strategic capability set with ability to rigorously define, prioritize and execute across a complex range of categories, customers, products and functional groups. -Experience converting business ideas and research into actionable product releases with an emphasis on revenue and performance. -Deep experience across all media types, preferably on a per market basis (Broadcast, Newspaper, Online, Radio etc.). -Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communications with proven ability to work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Operations Engineering Leadership to shape and refine region and market specific agendas. -Rich numerical and analytical skill set with ability to quickly translate hypotheses into diagnostics, initiatives and shape product performance. -Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically PowerPoint. -Must be willing to travel up to 30% of time across TWC footprint and within region markets.
