Mgr. Regulatory Reporting

This person will help in building the new Governance Quality Assurance function that's critical to the Regulatory Reporting team. As part of this new regulatory environment, the Company will need to comply with new financial reporting requirements under the Fed. This person will help build the QA process that helps improve the quality of data in the Company's regulatory filings. Additionally, the position will help transition the Company to address this new regulation and establish a business-as-usual reporting process to comply with the Fed requirements.

Responsibilities:

Work with Director of Governance and QA and Assistant Director of Governance on the following governance initiatives:
Assist in development and implementation of regulatory reporting policy and guideline.

Assist in development of management review protocols for each report for regulatory reports including but not limited to Forms FR Y9C, FR Y9LP, FR Y11, FR 2314, FFIEC 009.

Build attestation for each report.

Develop analytic framework for each report.

Perform review of reporting procedures and SOPs.

Work with report owners to conduct review key controls and framework by report.

Assist in the development of change management protocol.

Develop SAB 99 framework and refile protocols (including materiality threshold for regulatory reporting).

Work on gaps resolution and document key assumption used.

Provide training develop training framework.

Surge resource need:
Serve as surge resource for year end LE reporting (annual long and short forms).

Provide needed surge support to Y9C reporting.

Remediation:
Work with Assistant Director of Governance on coordination of future Fed exam.

Coordinate responses to Fed exam findings and observations.

Coordinate remediation efforts by working with both report owners and businesses.

B.A. / B.S. degree in Accounting is required. CPA and/or public accounting experience is preferred.

8 or more years of relevant experience with Federal regulatory reporting forms (e.g. FR Y-9C, FR Y11/2314, FFIEC 009, etc).

Possess relevant skills in building out of regulatory reporting governance framework including controls processes at other banks, BHCs, SLHCs.

Excellent verbal, written and communication skills are essential.

Prior experience implementing regulatory reporting for BHCs, banks, SLHCs is most helpful

Strong project management skills.

Proficient in the use of MS Office: Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.

Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities under tight time frames.

Detailed oriented solid team player.
