Job Description ? Oversees the development of all associate Training and Development materials ? Oversees the deployment of the Associate Training and Development Program ? Designs a deployment plan that gains the buy-in of all significant organizational stakeholders ? Executes against the plan in logical installments and modules so that individuals realize maximum benefit from the process ? Researches, challenges, defines, and documents Business Processes to support current and future technology ? Leverages the principle of continuous improvement to identify and incorporates process improvement ideas into the Associate Development Program ? Ensures that the program adapts and evolves to the changing conditions of the corporation as new software tools and processes are identified and deployed ? Develops quantifiable methods to measure, monitor and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Associate Development Program ? Links Associate Development Program with Corporate Training and Development Initiatives ? Ensures that the Space Management Associate Development Program complements and is consistent with other company-wide training and development initiatives Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements ? Degree in Business, Retail, Merchandising, or equivalent experience ? Minimum of 8 years Field Retail, Visual Merchandising, Space Planning, or equivalent experience ? 3-5 years experience in process re-engineering or design ? Experienced in creating associate training and process documentation ? Project and team management experience ? Knowledge of Sears, the Space Management organization, and associate relations and hands-on experience with other training, development, and process initiatives so as to have a context regarding what works and what doesn?t work ? Exhibit personal behaviors consistent with SHC values and have excellent communications and humans relations skills ? Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and JDA Space and Floor Planning Applications. ? Excel at communicating and documenting complex issues in simple to understand yet actionable ways (words/numbers/pictures) ? Desire and the capacity to create change through their behavior and enthusiasm in their work ? Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to ensure adherence to established timelines Years Experience 5 - 10 Years Experience Preferred Minimum Education Bachelors Level Degree Travel Requirements On Occasion (Less than 5%)
