MI / BI Analyst Job in Bolton, North West UK
MI / BI Analyst – Qlikview / SQL
I am looking to recruit a MI / BI Analyst for my Manchester city centre client. Ideally you will have strong experience around Qlikview as well as sound understanding of SQL.
- Substantial previous experience in designing, documenting, planning, delivery and maintenance of management information reports and/or web portals, preferably in a legal or insurance services environment.
- Strong knowledge of the core Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel, MS Word and MS Visio.
- A grounding in database system design, preferably MS SQL Server; able to specify data formats and structures, perform straightforward queries and data manipulation (but not to software developer level).
- Demonstrable understanding of legal case management systems and typical case management workflows used in volume defendant practices; developing knowledge of the business and its current goals.
- Current/developing knowledge of insurance industry trends in claims management, reporting and MI as it relates to the provision of legal services.
- Experience in identifying project risks, assessing the impact of change requests and planning accordingly.
- Experience in working in multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver user-facing projects.
