MI Manager – CONTRACT
Key responsibilities :
- Developing an understanding of Operational processes and Complaints procedures you will assist in building effective oversight and reporting mechanisms with respect to: On-going product performance, Product risk and issue management.
- Management of the Product Office MI team, ensuring reports are delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure all MI needs, in respect of defined products, across the business are met through periodic reporting.
- Review operational processes, identifying impact on the data produced.
- Challenge the current MI reporting framework, introducing more effective ways to produce existing reports and creating new outputs.
- Management and prioritisation of ad hoc / exceptional management information requests.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, at all levels, establishing creditability and challenging the Business where appropriate.
- Liaise with different business areas to understand key drivers for the trends highlighted in the MI produced.
Key Skills:
- ACA / CIMA 3 years + post-qualified.
- Advanced SAS, SQL, Business Objects, Access and Excel skills.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a team management function.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of retail financial services products.
- Ability to think analytically and apply judgement to data / explanations to ensure integrity of information.
- Previous experience / knowledge in Operational / Complaints MI would be an advantage.
