The Challenge

Our client, an international financial institution, is currently seeking an experience MI Manager to join their business support team. This team provides support and analysis of information to assist in strategic decisions. The role will include designing, implementing and managing reporting processes including development of financial forecasts and analysis, generating reports, monitoring KPIs and peer analysis.

The position will involve:

• Delivering accurate management information reports

• Development of value added banking and mortgage arrears leading and early indicator reporting

• Co-ordination of daily interfaces with stakeholders

• Implementation and enhancement of dynamic forecasting models for arrears trend analysis

• Co-ordination and development of IT solutions for the automation of MI

• Documentation of processes and procedures

• Leading and motivation of a team

The Candidate

The successful candidate for this MI Manager job will be a qualified Accountant, ideally from a Big 4 / Top 10 background with 3-4 years relevant PQE. They will also have:

• Previous experience in MI delivery and implementation

• A strong understanding of key financial analysis indicators

• Excellent excel modelling skills (pivot tables, macros)

• Strong interpersonal and people management skills
