JOB DESCRIPTION
1+ YEAR ASSIGNMENT

1ST 2ND SHIFT AVAILABLE

Summary

Electro-mechanical assembly of electronic camera related products. This may include engineering prototypes, pre-production, and production assemblies.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WITH TINY PARTS UNDER A MICROSCOPE AND HAVE STRONG SOLDERING SKILLS.

Duties Responsibilities

- Builds an extensive variety of cameras, including sub-assembly, assembly, prototype, inspection, modifications, upgrades and rework

- Assembles camera products in accordance to manufacturing documentation (assembly instructions, travelers, configuration logs, etc.)

- Hand solders of electronic parts including: surface mount soldering; through-hole soldering; micro-soldering; etc.

- Assembles wire harnesses and cable assemblies

- Verifies kits are complete and correct

- Assists Manufacturing Engineering in the creation, development and revision of assembly documentation

- Verifies accuracy of finished assemblies to provide quality output

- Works closely with Test team, Manufacturing and Engineering departments

- Processes assemblies using a variety of hand tools (wrenches, drivers, sockets, etc.)
